Dubai's Business Bay district is the business hub of the emirate and is similar to Manhattan in NYC and Tokyo's Ginza. In a small area of only 6 square km there are more than 200 residential and office skyscrapers.
The area is located near the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) and the DWTC World Centre, however, it is not without picturesque views, as it is located adjacent to the coast of the Arabian Gulf.
In this business district, there are many headquarters of local and international firms located in the vibrant area that sits right next to Downtown Dubai. For example, the headquarters of Yango, which specialises in taxis and food delivery in the MENA region.
In this area you can buy apartments to suit every taste, from 1 to 5 bedrooms. Luxurious 4-bedroom penthouses are also available, ranging from 600 sq. m to 700 sq. m. Duplexes that come with 4 bedrooms, a maid's room, 5-6 bathrooms, floor-to-ceiling French windows, a fully equipped kitchen and private parking spaces are also common in the area. Often duplexes are equipped with spacious terraces with their very own swimming pool.
Despite the neighbourhood's tightly packed and small size, there is also a place for villas - for example, Sky Villas and Marasi floating villas are located along the beautiful Dubai Water Canal.
The area's most popular residential developments are The Binary, Clover Bay Tower, The Prism, Tamani Arts Offices, The Citadel, Bayswater Tower, Iris Bay, The Exchange Business Bay and Metropolis Tower.

The Dubai Water Canal is located in the area (its width is 100 m), so water transportation is also developed here. Water stations for public ferries and private boats are located on both sides of the canal, so that it is not only convenient for local residents, but also attracts tourists.
It takes 20 minutes’ to get to both airports by metro (the nearest station is Business Bay), or 30 to 40 minutes’ by car. Dubai's main thoroughfares, the Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road, pass either side of the area, which is very convenient for those who own a car.
According to local residents, Business Bay has the best medical clinics in the UAE, including the renowned Emirates Hospital Clinic. The medical centre is well equipped, and doctors specialise in general practice, gynaecology, dermatology, and dentistry. Nearby is Aster Clinic, which is a quality representative of family medicine. There are several dentists in the area, including Empire Dental Clinic, Ivory Dental & Implant Clinic and Perfect Smile.
The area is rich in education institutions for children of different ages. It is home to some of the best preschools, such as First Path Montessori at Building 7, Bay Square, Hummingbird Nursery on Bay Avenue, Maple Bear Nursery at Burlington Tower, and Canadian Kids Nursery at Churchill Residency
There is also a good choice of primary and secondary schools. These include the prestigious Dubai International School, GEMS Our Own Indian School and Safa British School. The latter is a private co-educational school up to secondary school level, and the programme is entirely British. The school is located in the Al Safa 1 building.
Dubai International School Al Quoz is building an American curriculum and accepts children from kindergarten to 12th grade.
GEMS Our Own Indian School is located near the Manama hypermarket, on Al Meydan Road, and the Global Indian International School (GIIS) campus is located near the Al Manar Islamic Center, on Al Meydan Road.
Both by car and public transport, you can very quickly get to Dubai Knowledge Park, where several universities are located.
